Job Description

The Robotics System Engineer Intern/Co-op position at Amazon Robotics involves working on the deployment team to install, troubleshoot, integrate, and commission robotic equipment in fulfillment centers. The role requires strong technical skills in robotics, mechanical systems, electrical systems, and networking.

Requirements

• Currently working towards Bachelor’s or Masters Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related STEM field
• Ability to read and develop technical documentation and process instructions
• Proficiency in standard office software tools and processes
• Willingness to work in a construction or warehouse environment in a field-based role
• Understanding of data collection, reporting processes, and ability to make data-driven decisions
• Ability to troubleshoot robotics systems and resolve technical escalations

Responsibilities

• Overseeing installation, troubleshooting, and commissioning of robotic equipment in fulfillment centers
• Providing technical oversight on the deployment of robotics equipment
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives
• Managing a team of engineers during deployments
• Delivering projects on key KPIs like on-time delivery, cost, quality, safety, and sustainability
