System Integration and Validation Engineer, Industrial Storage Site Operation

Job Description

Tesla Energy is seeking an engineer to work on integration and testing of industrial battery storage systems to support the transition to sustainable energy.

Requirements

• Degree in an engineering-related field or proof of exceptional skills
• Previous systems integration and testing experience
• Hands-on experience with networking and security protocols
• Knowledge of ICS and SCADA protocols
• Proficiency in Linux systems and administration
• Good programming skills in C, Python, or similar languages
• Analytical problem-solving skills in complex HW/SW systems
• Effective communicator with attention to detail
• Experience with big data analysis tools is preferred
• Familiarity with batteries, power electronics, renewable energy products

Responsibilities

• Perform hardware, firmware, and software integration for industrial energy storage systems
• Conduct hands-on testing, debugging, and troubleshooting at deployment sites
• Design and implement automated validation sequences for system operations
• Lead test plan definition for new firmware and software features
• Identify and resolve issues during system bring-up and performance testing
• Participate in FMEA processes for product design and testing
