Data Engineer, Energy Remanufacturing

Job Description

Tesla is seeking a talented and motivated Data Engineer to join our Data and Analytics team, responsible for building a state-of-the-art analytics platform for business and operational intelligence.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in creating data pipelines using Python / Airflow
• Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent practical experience
• Experience with designing DataMart, Data Warehouse, database objects within relational databases MySQL, SQL Server, Vertica
• Strong proficiency in SQL and query writing
• Strong Problem-Solving, Verbal and Written communication skills
• Excellent analytical, organizational skills and ability to work under pressure /deliver on tight deadlines
• Strong experience in stellar dashboards and reports creation for C-level executives

Responsibilities

• Work in a time-constrained environment to analyze, design, develop and deliver Enterprise Data Warehouse solutions
• Create ETL/ELT pipelines using Python, Airflow
• Build ad-hoc reports to support more curious data users and provide automation using Tableau
• Develop collaborative relationships and work with key business sponsors, IT resources to gather requirements and resolve requests efficiently
• Communicate technical and business topics as necessary
• Develop, enforce, and recommend enhancements to Applications in the area of standards, methodologies, compliance, and quality assurance practices
• Take ownership of deployment and release process
• Keep up to date on relevant technologies and frameworks
