Senior Machine Learning Engineer, Recipe Pathfinding

Job Description

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Machine Learning software engineer to innovate new low-precision and sparsity recipes in the pretraining setting and contribute to next-generation software development for GPUs.

Requirements

• PhD or M.S. degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years of relevant software engineering experience
• Proficient in Python
• Experience with PyTorch or similar framework
• Solid foundation in LLM pre training, post training, or generation
• Strong written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities

• Keep abreast on quantized LLM training research
• Build robust and reproducible training recipes
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and research teams
• Work with production SW teams to realize recipes in production workflows
