Job Description

The Data Scientist role at Apple involves providing data-driven insights to support decision-making across product, business, and creative teams focused on Apple Services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficient in extracting insights from large datasets using programming languages such as Python and SQL.
  • Skilled in designing and executing experimentation strategies, including test definition and results measurement.
  • Skilled in applying statistical methods to business problems including classification, segmentation, and forecasting.
  • Experienced in applying data science techniques to solve ambiguous, real-world problems and clearly communicate insights to stakeholders.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.

Responsibilities

  • Provide data-driven insights to support decision-making across product, business, and creative teams focused on Apple Services.
  • Inform understanding of how users discover and engage with content and subscription offerings.
  • Define engineering and business intelligence requirements for new datasets and data products.
  • Collaborate with the broader data science organization on cross-functional initiatives.
  • Design, implement, and evaluate A/B tests and experiments to continuously improve the product experience.
  • Develop and deploy machine learning models to optimize products and services.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to shape and guide roadmaps, influence priorities, and support product strategy with data.
