EMC Test Engineer, Optimus

Job Description

Tesla is seeking an EMC Test Engineer to work on sophisticated autonomous robot and automotive electronic products for mass production.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Engineering with 2 years of experience in EMC testing or equivalent experience
• Experience performing EMC testing
• Working knowledge on instruments required for EMC testing
• Basic understanding of Electromagnetic theory applied to EMC testing
• Understanding of analog and digital electronics
• Experience in generating detailed EMC test reports

Responsibilities

• Conduct EMC testing on Tesla modules
• Generate EMC test plans and test reports
• Coordinate EMC testing with 3rd party laboratories
• Review, analyze, and interpret EMC test results
• Collaborate with cross-functional and EMC design teams
• Perform product change assessment for EMC
• Develop and validate EMC test setups for emissions and immunity
