Rotating Equipment Engineer, Lithium

Job Description

The Equipment Engineer is primarily responsible for the design of maintenance procedures, tooling retrofits, performance improvements, and deployment of new processes/equipment while ensuring safety, quality, and output standards are met.

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering with at least 8+ years of experience in an industrial plant
• In-depth knowledge of rotating/packaged equipment and electric motors
• Familiarity with various standards such as API, ASME, and NEMA

Responsibilities

• Prepare technical specifications and review proposals for equipment purchases
• Develop construction strategies for modular units considering mechanical aspects
• Coordinate cross-functional reviews and integration of purchased equipment into plant design
• Provide technical support throughout project construction and commissioning phases
