Internship, Technical Business Process Analyst, Service Development (Winter/Spring 2026)

Job Description

Tesla is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join their team and contribute to improving service processes and data management. The intern will gain hands-on experience, conduct audits, align service process meta data, and help automate critical processes.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's program in Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field
• Proficiency in Excel/Power Query and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau)
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate findings effectively

Responsibilities

• Audit and streamline PDS Step Library
• Map PDS procedures to parts, correction codes, mobile capabilities, and required certification
• Deliver detailed reports on findings and recommended merging
• Align PDS procedures with persona database and identify gaps
• Prepare a gap analysis report
• Analyze and automate corrections for SBOM parts
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to map legacy parts and propose automation rules
• Track progress and document codes created
• Present consolidated audit reports and validation roadmap to stakeholders
• Highlight the impact of contributions on cost reduction and technician productivity
