Senior Substation Electrical Engineer

Job Description

Arcadis is seeking a Senior Substation Electrical Engineer to join their Power Delivery team, working on renewable energy projects in North America.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; Master’s degree preferred
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience within Substation projects from 4kV up to 500kV
• Proficient in AutoCAD and SKM/ETAP, CDEGS/WinIGS, other engineering software
• Design experience adhering to relevant codes and standards

Responsibilities

• Responsible for engineering, detail design, studies, and delivery of substation projects
• Lead project estimates, engineering estimates, proposals, client engagement, and business development activities
• Coordinate with various engineering disciplines to develop complete design packages
• Act as Project Manager, Proposal Manager, and Technical Lead
• Mentor junior team members and conduct quality assurance/quality control
