Business Intelligence Analyst

Job Description

This role at Tesla involves supporting the company's customer facing expansion plans through quantitative and qualitative analyses, forecasting capacity needs, tracking performance, and collaborating with various stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Economics, Business, or Data Analytics or equivalent experience
• Significant experience in data analytics, scenario planning, predictive modeling
• Expertise in data processing using Excel, SQL, and optionally VBA, Python, or R
• Experience in building data visualizations with Tableau Desktop or similar tools
• Experience collaborating with a wide variety of stakeholders
• Ability to lead, manage, and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Must be available to work from the Palo Alto, CA office regularly

Responsibilities

• Combine quantitative and qualitative analyses to explain factors driving customer demand and forecast capacity needs
• Track and measure performance of existing locations and teams, identifying improvement opportunities
• Analyze field feedback and provide insights for operations and IT teams to enhance efficiency
• Build business cases and analyses to support process improvement initiatives
• Create high-quality analyses and summaries for engagement with executive leadership
