Job Description

The System Engineer position at Amazon Robotics involves deploying robotic equipment at fulfillment centers, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• BS degree in Engineering or closely related STEM field
• Experience working on mechanical, electrical, IT networked, or software systems
• Strong foundational knowledge in robotics or complex electro-mechanical and networked engineering
• Ability to read technical documentation and process instructions
• Proficiency in standard office software tools and processes
• Willingness to work in construction or warehouse environments and travel extensively
• 1-3 years experience in field engineering, construction, manufacturing, or warehouse environment

Responsibilities

• Support and guide installation of robotic technologies at Amazon fulfillment centers
• Develop detailed knowledge of the operation of robotic systems
• Generate and implement continuous improvement ideas
• Lead teams of engineers on projects
• Oversee and resolve escalations during robotics deployment
• Deliver projects by owning key KPIs around on-time delivery, cost, quality, safety, and sustainability
