Research Scientist Manager - Neuromotor Interfaces

Job Description

Meta is seeking a Research Scientist Manager with expertise in product-focused signal processing and sensor development to help create novel wearable devices and algorithms for interaction with the virtual and augmented world.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• Ph.D. in machine learning, AI, computer science, electrical engineering, statistics, applied mathematics, data science, signal processing, optimization or related technical fields
• 4+ years of experience after PhD in related industry R&D setting
• Experience defining research/technical direction for a team and supporting the work of researchers

Responsibilities

• Lead a team to deliver high-quality products and solutions
• Manage career guidance for the team through regular feedback
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop scalable systems
• Develop scalable methodologies to simulate biophysical signals
• Explore methods to improve ML models for product features
• Develop and implement engineering strategies
• Foster a work environment of continuous learning and growth
