Camera Systems Engineer

Job Description

Meta is seeking a Camera Systems Engineer to be responsible for the technical delivery of camera modules in Meta Reality Labs products, ensuring system requirements are met through collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Optical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in camera module design, optical simulation, metrology, testing, and lab work
• Experience with high-volume consumer electronics manufacturing

Responsibilities

• Define technical specifications and requirements for camera modules
• Analyze data from builds to validate design and lead iterative design cycles
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of camera modules
• Identify and resolve technical risks, maintain detailed documentation, and report progress to leadership
• Lead camera testing and validation efforts, travel domestically and internationally up to 10% time
