Senior Network Engineer, Google Enterprise Networking

Job Description

Google is looking for a Network Engineer to join the Network Engineering team responsible for operating and enhancing Google's global network, ensuring reliability and efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 6 years of experience with network routing protocols, design and troubleshooting
• Experience with WAN technologies/protocols
• Experience in planning and designing networks
• Certifications in CCIE/CCDE/JNCIE preferred
• Experience in programming languages such as C++, Go, or Python preferred
• Experience with Linux preferred

Responsibilities

• Drive quantifiable analysis of measurements and data for network scalability and efficiency
• Evaluate and propose improvements to network systems
• Develop software to enhance network performance and manageability
• Participate in rotating schedules, including weekends
• Lead development of Google's Enterprise Network infrastructure
