Manufacturing Process Engineer- Display

Job Description

Apple is looking for a Manufacturing Process Engineer to lead development and ramp for a next-generation product.

Requirements

• 3+ years experience in process development/bring up and qualification
• BS (MS preferred) in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Review and provide feedback on design/design intent of components and assemblies
• Set standard manufacturing practices and independently determine impact to design and parameters to the final product
• Develop new and/or improved processes for parts and assemblies
• Drive corrective actions cross-functionally with internal and external team members
• Drive design experiments to prove out manufacturing processes or design iterations
• Design for Manufacturability
• Present technical issues and updates to Apple management team and cross-functional team on a frequent basis
• Provide creative solutions for engineering challenges or issues related to the assembly process
• International travel to supplier sites, up to 30%
