Sr. Test Engineer, Powertrain

Job Description

Rivian is seeking a Sr. Test Engineer to work on system level Powertrain testing for Electric Adventure Vehicles as part of their product development process.

Requirements

• BS in Engineering with minimum 5+ years of relevant experience
• Experience in testing or developing of electric axles and drivetrains
• Thorough knowledge of automotive CAN and CAN FD communication
• Experience in configuration, development, and maintenance of various dynamometer control systems
• Ability to work autonomously

Responsibilities

• Perform system level validation testing for Powertrain
• Support the development of test system capabilities
• Develop test methods for electric Powertrain products
• Analyze test data, write test reports, and sign-off for publication
• Support departmental continuous improvement endeavors
