Network Production Engineer, Infrastructure

Job Description

Meta is looking for a Network Production Engineer to join the Network Infra team responsible for deploying and managing one of the world's largest networks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience developing automation and tools for network deployments and/or operations.
• 2+ years of experience developing and understanding network device configurations for at least one network vendor.
• 2+ years of coding experience in at least one programming language.
• Demonstrated knowledge of TCP, IPv4/6, Routing Protocols, and related network services.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, build, and maintain automation and tools to support network deployment and operations.
• Develop operational process improvements and implement them in scalable, automated workflows.
• Lead enhancements of automation for continuous integration, testing infrastructure, and configuration management.
• Conduct investigations into complex technical issues across networks.
• Participate in an on-call rotation and contribute to team growth through mentorship.
