Business Analyst (contract)

Job Description

Seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst for a contract role with AGS to support Microsoft in managing subscriptions, budgeting, and planning.

Requirements

• 5 - 7 years of overall experience in FP&A, business analyst, or finance analyst roles
• Bachelor's degree in business management, economics, finance, accounting or a relevant field required
• Strong proficiency in Excel with advanced modeling capabilities
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently in a virtual environment while collaborating effectively across teams
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail
• Familiarity with subscription businesses or gaming industry preferred

Responsibilities

• Refresh and update monthly key reports, scorecards, and slides
• Maintain advanced financial models on a monthly basis
• Provide variance analysis across all relevant business metrics
• Support ad-hoc analyses and deliverables
• Document business processes and deliverables effectively
• Update and refine business forecasting models
• Deliver a weekly business outlook based on latest trends
• Develop and prepare various analytical reports
• Partner with finance and content delivery teams
