System Integration Engineer, Residential Energy

Job Description

Tesla Energy is seeking an engineer passionate about hardware/firmware integration and validation to drive the world's transition to sustainable energy.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of experience in hardware and firmware integration and validation
• Strong electrical engineering fundamentals
• Experience with Python, C, C++, Go, or equivalent experience
• Hands-on experience with electrical, mechanical, and software engineering components
• Proficiency with basic EE tools
• Exceptional analytical problem-solving skills
• Effective communicator with attention to detail
• Preferred: Circuit design experience
• Preferred: Software design experience

Responsibilities

• Perform hardware and firmware integration of V2X technology
• Develop and execute test plans
• Lead system level firmware validation and releases
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure requirements are met
• Drive continuous improvement in design and performance
• Develop and maintain interface control documentation
• Conduct failure analysis and drive resolutions
• Develop and maintain automated firmware tests
• Hands-on system bring up and prototyping
