Mechanical Design Engineer – New Product Development (E)

Job Description

KLA is seeking Mechanical Design Engineers to join their technology team, responsible for designing the next generation wafer inspection equipment.

Requirements

• Proficient in 3D CAD modeling and 2D mechanical drawing
• Experience with mechanical design, testing, and troubleshooting
• Knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools for thermal, structural, and modal analyses
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Full-time onsite is required

Responsibilities

• Designing, building, and prototyping the next generation wafer inspection equipment
• Creating innovative designs involving precision mechanisms, vacuum systems, vibration isolation, etc.
• Working with cross-functional engineering teams to derive subsystem requirements and conduct design reviews
• Generating comprehensive engineering drawings and documentation
• Delivering working solutions by collaborating closely with cross-functional engineering teams
