Validation Engineer, Body Controls, Vehicle Software

Job Description

Join the Body Controls team at Tesla to work on firmware, sensing, and controls of mechatronics systems in Tesla vehicles. Develop and maintain automated test cases to ensure robust and reliable embedded systems.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
• Fluent in Python
• Experience in developing tests from specifications
• Experience with electrical schematics interpretation
• Experience using lab and test equipment
• Experience with FPGA-based test platforms or hardware-in-the-loop systems

Responsibilities

• Design exhaustive automated test cases
• Collaborate with Software, Hardware, and Integration Engineers
• Assist in the design of new test fixtures
• Execute and maintain a suite of regression tests
• Develop and maintain test infrastructure
