Senior Simulation Engineer - Autonomous Vehicles

Job Description

Join NVIDIA's Autonomous Vehicles Platform Team as a simulation engineer to work on cutting-edge solutions for self-driving cars and transportation.

Requirements

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related engineering field
• 8+ years of relevant experience in software engineering and simulation
• Excellent C and C++ programming skills
• Experience designing, developing, and debugging complex systems
• Solid understanding of QNX, Linux, and real-time operating systems
• Solid understanding of simulation concepts and strong foundation in mathematics
• Experience working on a large scale simulation system for an AV stack
• Ability to self-manage and adapt in a dynamic environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with platform software, infrastructure, and ADAS algorithm teams
• Drive technical solutions for new concepts related to replay/simulation framework and infrastructure
• Design, document, and optimize software architectures and frameworks
• Engage in challenging work involving a plethora of unsolved problems
