Resident Engineer (RE)

Job Description

Arcadis is seeking a Resident Engineer (RE) to join their team in California to perform professional engineering work in a field or office setting.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of directly relevant experience, including Resident Engineer or related roles
• At least 5 years working as a Resident Engineer on Caltrans Highway improvement projects of similar size and complexity
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering-related field
• Professional Engineer (PE) / Licensed Civil Engineer in the State of California

Responsibilities

• Ensuring safety of employees and the public
• Reviewing contractor operations for compliance with regulations
• Planning, reviewing, and assigning work to subordinate personnel
• Overseeing materials testing activities
• Attending and leading construction meetings with clients and contractors
