Research Engineer, Language - Wearables Voice AI

Job Description

The Research Engineer in Wearables Voice AI at Meta will be responsible for conducting cutting-edge research to enhance device-driven AI Assistant efforts, specifically focusing on RayBan Smart Glasses and future Wearable devices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
• 2+ years of experience in AI research and development in speech recognition, speech synthesis, natural language understanding, machine learning, or related fields
• Experience with development and implementation of speech recognition algorithms/systems and model training
• Proficiency in machine learning libraries like Pytorch, Tensorflow, etc
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python and shell scripts

Responsibilities

• Apply AI and machine learning techniques to enhance Meta Wearables products
• Develop innovative AI algorithms and systems for large-scale applications
• Contribute to experiments, design experimental details, develop code, run evaluations, and organize results
• Work with large data and contribute to the development of large-scale foundation models
• Design methods, tools, and infrastructure to advance large language models
