Data Engineer II

Job Description

Microsoft's Windows Servicing & Delivery Org is seeking a Data Engineer II to work on the Update Platform team, leveraging data to assess product quality, detect issues, and ensure customer security.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Computer Science, Math, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field AND 1+ year(s) experience in business analytics, data science, software development, data modeling, or data engineering
• 3+ years with scripting and coding languages focusing on data engineering like SQL, KQL, python, Scope, C# and others
• 1+ years of experience in building large data processing frameworks using technologies like Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Explorer, PowerBI, and/or other tools
• 1+ years of experience in analytics to define, monitor, and optimize KPIs and connected business metrics
• 1+ years of proven ability to sustain a data-driven rhythm of business, transforming insights into actionable strategies
