Job Description

Rivian is seeking an ML Engineer to lead and develop AI strategy for projects related to Electric Adventure Vehicles.

Requirements

• M.S. or Ph.D. in Machine Learning or a related field
• 5+ years of experience working on production ML systems
• Expert level knowledge and experience Python and PyTorch or TensorFlow
• Solid understanding of state-of-the-art models and approaches for perception, prediction, or planning in the self-driving space
• Experience with Automotive Self-Driving or similarly complex Robotics Systems

Responsibilities

• Examining novel algorithms from a research standpoint
• Taking charge of optimizing on-road performance for models moving towards production
• Offering guidance on current and future technology decisions
• Balancing technology tradeoffs according to company's needs
• Crafting easily extendable and collaborative designs and code
• Influencing and fostering consensus during technical discussions
