Job Description

The Quality, Reliability, Efficiency (QRE) team at Amazon is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to drive innovations for grocery platforms and enhance customer experiences globally.

Requirements

• 4+ years of quality assurance engineering experience
• Experience developing high quality test plans, test designs, test strategies, and test execution
• Experience as QA lead on medium to large sized projects
• Experience measuring software quality
• Experience in automation testing
• Experience in manual testing

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies for medium to large-scale projects, with a focus on automated testing execution
• Demonstrate strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve complex issues
• Possess expertise with at least one modern programming language such as Java, Python or C#
• Thorough understanding of the application development lifecycle, CI/CD practices, and testing within an agile environment
• Exhibit strong ownership, ability to work autonomously, and find solutions when faced with challenges
• Mentor and guide other engineers as needed, sharing knowledge and best practices
