Sr. Electrical Design Engineer (E)

Job Description

KLA is seeking Sr. Electrical Design Engineers to work on developing electrical/electronic systems and sub-systems from concept to production release.

Requirements

• Minimum 5-7 years of experience with BSEE, or 3-5 years of experience with MSEE
• Solid knowledge of electrical system design principles, analog/digital and mixed signal design
• Strong technical project management skills
• Good understanding of engineering design phases and deliverables
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated team player
• Experience with lab equipment like logic analyzer, oscilloscope, soldering, etc.

Responsibilities

• Define requirement specifications for electrical/electronic systems
• Design electrical sub-systems from concept to production release
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software, mechanical, packaging, and production
• Plan technical projects including timelines, milestones, and budget estimates
• Design mixed signal electronic systems and perform testing and analysis
• Create test plans, perform testing, and validate design performance at bench and system level
