Tesla Display Team is seeking a Display Validation Engineer to work on display system development for Tesla products.
Requirements
Degree in Optical, Electronics, Electronic, or Physics or related field, or equivalent experience
5 years of LCD/OLED display development and product delivery experience
In-depth understanding of display technologies, display module construction, display frontend and backend manufacturing process, display reliability, display quality, and display electronics systems
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, excellent project management, communication, and teamwork skills
Familiarity with display metrology, color science, optical measurement equipment, data acquisition, and visualization tools
Experience with high-level coding languages like Matlab, Python, Minitab, JMP, or equivalent statistical analysis tools
Responsibilities
Manage display suppliers to drive display module design and implementation
Define and validate display module and system for new programs
Characterize, measure, test, and evaluate display panel, module, and system
Identify and resolve display-related issues through root cause analysis
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members
Ensure performance specifications are met by suppliers and cross-functional groups
Drive closure of engineering issues in a timely manner
Ensure display deliverables for engineering builds and initial ramp
