Senior Software Engineer – Cloud Storage Platform in OneDrive/SharePoint

Job Description

Microsoft is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to work on the File Storage team within OneDrive and SharePoint, responsible for ensuring integrity, availability, and performance of all file data stored in these services.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, or Java, OR equivalent experience
• Experience coding, debugging, and problem-solving cloud scale components
• Proven experience leading and managing projects involving multiple engineers
• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver systems that enable partners and ISVs to migrate from other cloud providers
• Improve core systems performance and efficiencies, and ensure zero customer impact throughout the change management cycle
• Deliver systems to meet business continuity planning goals, provide telemetry for optimizing the service, and drive response time for detecting and resolving service issues
