Privacy Tools Software Engineer

Job Description

Join Apple's Privacy Tools team to work on building internal tools to support user privacy and enhance privacy for end users.

Requirements

• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
• 3+ years practical background in software engineering and client development
• Passion for great user experience and privacy
• Proficiency in full-stack web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, ES6, React, Node.js, Flask, Django
• Proficiency in Python, Swift, UIKit, SwiftUI
• Experience in SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
• Ability to quickly learn new skills and solve complex problems independently
• Strong collaboration, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Experience in overall architecture for products and solutions

Responsibilities

• Improve the efficiency and productivity of user privacy by building tools
• Work across the organization using skills from web development, iOS apps, to automation
• Touch new systems each week, pitch new ideas, and actively work on the future of privacy at Apple
