Image Processing and Machine Learning Engineer

Job Description

Reality Labs at Meta is seeking an Image Processing and Machine Learning Engineer to develop cutting-edge technologies for AR and MR products.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• 2+ years experience in developing and implementing advanced algorithms for imaging, computer vision, or machine learning applications
• Experience in Python and/or MATLAB, and C++
• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or other related tools
• Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment

Responsibilities

• Develop algorithms for image processing and computer vision based on machine learning and classic approaches
• Develop machine learning models optimized for performance, energy efficiency, and scalability
• Run ML models, including training, optimization, and analysis of results
• Perform image and video quality evaluations using objective and subjective methods
• Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design algorithms for optimized performance
