Software Engineer, Apple Services Engineering

Job Description

Apple Service Engineering (ASE) team is seeking an experienced software engineer to enhance Kubernetes clusters for Apple's services.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering-related field, or equivalent related experience
• Strong experience with building and scaling core components of Kubernetes or similar orchestration systems
• Experience with Kueue, Yunikorn or related technologies preferred
• Highly proficient in Golang
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Partner with teams across Apple to develop features for Kubernetes clusters
• Improve scalability, availability, and performance of services centered around Kubernetes
• Evolve design and architecture to support growth and ensure customer satisfaction
• Partner with SRE to investigate and remediate production issues
