Job Description

As a Customer Reliability Engineer, you will provide technical leadership to customers, guide them in adopting SRE principles, and build reliable systems on Google Cloud.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience
  • 13 years of experience troubleshooting and advocating for customer needs
  • Experience in reading/debugging code in various languages
  • Experience with incident management in distributed systems environment

Responsibilities

  • Provide education on Google's reliability principles and best practices to customers
  • Lead architectural reviews and risk analyses
  • Advocate for customers within Google to improve reliability
  • Ensure lessons are learned from incidents by guiding postmortem review process
  • Co-ordinate remediation actions post-incident in customer's environment
