Job Description

The Vehicle Program Manager at Tesla is responsible for defining vehicle specifications, developing product business cases, and negotiating program schedules to impact new and existing vehicle programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
• 2+ years program/project management experience managing cross-functional product development programs
• Experience in fast-paced environment with end-to-end product deployment
• Ability to work with limited resources, tight deadlines, and urgency
• Experience using program management tools and processes
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Develop, negotiate, and approve vehicle program schedules based on company requirements
• Develop, negotiate, and release vehicle product specifications
• Develop, negotiate, and release high-level program business cases
• Translate company priorities into actionable workstreams for teams
• Establish cross-functional alignment between teams on technical, scheduling, and business matters
• Inform company executives on critical program direction and decisions
• Analyse program risk, action mitigations, and escalate as required
• Communicate program direction, specification, and schedule to downstream departments
