Principal Firmware Development Engineer

Job Description

Microsoft is seeking a Principal Firmware Development Engineer to work on next-generation AI and compute silicon firmware technology to secure Azure infrastructure.

Requirements

• Doctorate or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with several years of technical engineering experience, or Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years of experience
• 7+ years of software development experience with C++
• Experience in post-silicon SoC or system validation
• Experience with DMAs, PCIe, Memory, Network Controllers, Image decoders
• Ability to meet security screening requirements

Responsibilities

• Develop test applications for Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Accelerator hardware systems
• Design workload profiling and analysis tools
• Develop post-silicon tests and tools for system scenarios
• Collaborate with various teams across the organization
