Director - Member Data Engineering & Products

Job Description

Netflix is seeking a seasoned leader in the Member domain to lead data engineering, analytics engineering, and visualization engineering teams across US and Poland offices to support a broader suite of entertainment offerings.

Requirements

• Experience in consumer-scale distributed data processing
• Expertise in big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, Kafka
• Strong background in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience in leading teams to build large-scale data architectures
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive vision and strategy for the Data Engineering & Products department
• Lead and inspire a team of high-performing data, analytics, and visualization engineers
• Establish and nurture strong relationships across multiple departments
• Mentor and grow individual team members and managers
• Navigate and transform business risks into growth opportunities
