Job Description

Join Apple's cellular wireless design team as a Cellular RFIC Transceiver Validation Engineer. Validate RF cellular transceiver SoCs and ensure exceptional performance for billions of connections worldwide.

Requirements

• MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
• Strong verification, problem-solving, and debugging skills
• Hands-on experience with RFICs including system integration, characterization, and optimization
• Proficiency in end-to-end RF measurements and block-level characterization
• Experience collaborating across multidisciplinary teams
• Experience with bench automation and scripting languages
• Familiarity with lab equipment and board schematics
• Experience with Digital Signal Processing verification
• Experience supporting ATE engineers and mass production

Responsibilities

• Design test strategies and develop validation frameworks
• Interpret design specifications to develop comprehensive test plans
• Use specialized test platforms and automation frameworks for validation
• Develop and maintain test scripts in Python, MATLAB, or C++
• Characterize and optimize RF performance across diverse operating conditions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for silicon bring-up and issue resolution
• Contribute to continuous improvement of validation methodologies and tools
