Job Description

Microsoft is seeking a Senior Critical Environment Battery Monitoring System Engineer to provide technical expertise for datacenter battery monitoring systems and drive operational excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering or related field AND 3+ years hands-on experience with specific battery monitoring systems
• Broad knowledge of UPS and battery back systems engineering
• Proven ability to create structured processes and manage complex projects using MSFT products

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical resource during global BMS deployments, providing expert troubleshooting as needed
• Implement global standards and identify areas for continuous improvement
• Collaborate with partner teams to improve system design and support infrastructure
