Mechanical Fixture Design Engineer

Job Description

Candidate will support multiple products by designing custom hardware to test Apple wireless products from prototype to mass production, handling mechanical designs through internal and external supply chain partners, and driving end to end manufacturing strategy. Position includes fixture assembly, bring up, debugging, and functional verification. Candidate will work closely with vendors to design and fabricate fixture hardware. International and domestic travel 30%.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics or 3 years of equivalent practice experience
• Solid mechanical design and hands-on engineering experience
• Strong problem-solving skills to define and implement solution for mechanical system validation
• Proficiency with 2D drawing, GD&T, alignments and 3D CAD modeling
