NPI Engineer Intern

Job Description

Join KLA as an NPI Engineer Intern to support new product development process and work on product designs, prototypes, and critical project decisions.

Requirements

• Pursuing Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Optical, Electrical or Manufacturing) or Physics or related technical field
• Experience with building and aligning opto-mechanical systems is desirable
• Familiarity using 3D CAD software, preferably ProE/CREO a plus

Responsibilities

• Own NPI deliverables including product BOMs, procedures, tooling, fixtures
• Lead multi-functional team to meet key milestones and project requirements
• Coordinate prototype material, build, align, and test opto-mechanical, mechanical, and electrical assemblies
• Drive development of alignment/test tooling and packaging for assemblies
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with new designs and prototypes in a cleanroom environment
