Arcadis is seeking a Senior Resident Engineer with 10+ years of experience to join the construction management team on projects in NYC and Lower Hudson Valley Region.
Requirements
BS in Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent work experience
10 years' Resident Engineer or Assistant Resident Engineer experience
Professional Engineer license in New York
Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day construction oversight/Resident Engineering Inspection efforts
Act as liaison to design staff for response to Contractor RFI's and review of shop drawings
Provide technical review of construction plans and specifications
Manage Construction Management Field Office staff
Responsible for staff safety, regulatory compliance, permit compliance and coordination with regulatory agencies
Monitor Contractor performance, schedule compliance, responsiveness, and effectiveness
Manage Contractor payment process and recommend adjustments as necessary
Lead project progress, safety compliance, adherence to schedule, and conduct meetings with stakeholders
