Job Description

Apple's Display Technologies group is seeking experienced Mechanical Engineers to design and develop innovative display modules for future products.

Requirements

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 8 years of experience
• Experience delivering designs from concept development through production
• Expertise in mechanical engineering fundamentals
• Experience leading mechanical design & validation
• Experience with diverse manufacturing techniques and materials
• Failure analysis experience

Responsibilities

• Investigate state-of-the-art mechanical designs and technologies
• Define and lead the module mechanical architecture
• Achieve system goals through mechanical design optimization
• Define & implement validation plans for ME characteristics
• Act as a focal point among multiple cross-functional teams and suppliers
• Support the product through engineering development, mass-production ramp-up, and launch
