Associate Test Engineer (Mechanical)

Job Description

KLA is seeking an Associate Test Engineer to work on testing new technologies and supporting tool operations in the semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant experience
• Hands-on experience with Ultra High Vacuum Systems testing, integration, and troubleshooting
• Knowledge of electron optics, pneumatics, robotics, and High Voltage electronics
• Experience with Oscilloscopes and DVM tools
• Ability to work in a clean room environment
• Excellent written and oral interpersonal skills in English

Responsibilities

• Support mechanical assembly and disassembly of various sub-systems on the tool
• Test, troubleshoot, and rework assemblies and tools
• Prepare technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions
• Work on assignments that require judgment in resolving issues
• Assist in improving Manufacturing process
• Demonstrate organization skills, problem-solving approach, and time management
• Stand, sit, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds with assistance
• Travel up to 25% of the time domestically and internationally
