Job Description

Arcadis is seeking an experienced Fire Protection Engineer to support their US Places Design & Engineering business area in Dallas, Texas.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in mechanical or fire protection engineering
• Fire Protection Professional Engineering Licensure in the United States
• Extensive experience producing IFC design packages for federal agency facilities
• Knowledge of life safety codes, industry standards, building codes, and safety standards
• Advanced technical understanding of fire alarm and suppression systems

Responsibilities

• Lead design teams and mentor junior staff
• Develop budgets, proposals, schedules, project and staffing plans
• Fluency in design and modeling software
• Design fire protection systems in various facilities
• Travel to project sites for fire protection site surveys and collaboration
