Sr. Systems Engineer

Job Description

Apple’s Ecosystem Products & Technologies team is seeking a skilled Systems Engineer to help define and drive the ecosystem of accessories compatible with Apple devices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 5 years of interdisciplinary engineering expertise related to consumer electronics or embedded systems
• Solid understanding of hardware/software interaction and mechanical constraints
• Strong technical writing and documentation skills
• Ability to develop and maintain system-level requirements/specifications for hardware, software, and mechanical subsystems
• Ability to build relationships with cross-functional teams and exert effective influence
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities

• Work with multi-discipline teams to design and launch new accessories and features into the market
• Write clear, concise, and testable specifications
• Lead projects through design phases and system architecture
• Work closely with engineering teams to resolve complex challenges
• Identify and prioritize project tasks and risks
