Sr. Mechanical Engineer, Plant Operations

Job Description

The job involves managing facilities operations and maintenance with a focus on HVAC systems, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in design, construction, commissioning, or maintenance in a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and systems
• Strong troubleshooting and issue resolution skills
• Strong data and system analysis skills
• Intermediate project management skills
• Proven ability to work in a large, complex environment

Responsibilities

• Provide operational engineering support on stationary equipment
• Plan facility systems capacity and trends
• Maintain, operate, diagnose, analyze, and repair facilities equipment
• Ensure operations are executed with planning and safety measures
• Oversee installation or repair of facilities infrastructure or equipment
• Perform audits and studies of existing systems
• Develop project justification packages for new and existing mechanical systems
• Collaborate with Maintenance and Operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve operational challenges
• Collaborate with Design team for facilities planning and support
