Technical expertise in automotive components design and manufacturing, safety and test requirements, appearance approval process
Knowledge of GD&T, datum structures
Experience in Extrusion and fabrication commodities
VDA 6.3 credentials and understanding preferred
In-depth knowledge of IATF16949:2016, ISO14001, ISO9001 preferred
Responsibilities
Engage with suppliers for industrialization and readiness
Support supplier selection and capability assessment
Drive APQP discipline and enforce PPAP requirements
Develop and track industrialization project KPIs
Evaluate and validate supplier manufacturing processes
Optimize supplier manufacturing scalability
Monitor supplier industrialization performance
Facilitate problem resolution using structured methodologies
Collaborate cross-functionally to drive cost optimization
Up to 50% travel requirement
