The role involves a multi-disciplinary approach to research, focusing on user intent inference and novel interaction techniques.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience working autonomously in ML research
- 4+ years of experience as a technical lead for a project with 4 or more individuals
- 2+ years of direct management experience
- Experience in analyzing and modeling high dimensional time series
- Experience bringing ML products from research to production
- Experience with interdisciplinary and/or cross-functional collaboration
- Experience with large scale cluster computing for ML modeling
- Experience developing end-to-end ML pipelines
- Experience in software engineering in industry
- PhD in relevant fields
Responsibilities
- Build machine learning and signal processing models to enhance neuromotor interface capabilities
- Collaborate with engineering and HCI teams to deploy models into new technology and user experiences
- Use quantitative methods to advance key research areas
- Develop research-grade code for deployment in research prototypes
- Work across organizational boundaries to solve problems
