KLA is seeking dedicated students for an internship in Milpitas, California, where they will contribute to the development of semiconductor inspection and metrology tools as part of the Platform Team.
Requirements
Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mech/Elec/Sys Engineering or related fields
Completed fundamental coursework in mechanical design
Basic skills in CAD software
Familiarity with PTC Creo and Ansys is a strong plus
Exposure to vacuum systems, cleanroom protocols, or semiconductor equipment is a plus
At least 2-3 years completed in a four-year degree program
Responsibilities
Generate 3D CAD models of mechanical parts and assemblies
Create and maintain engineering documentation
Perform basic analytical modeling to support design decisions
Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams such as Elec Eng, Optomech, Systems, Physics, Mechatronics, and SW teams
